LGNC- Last Couple of Days

Well, it's been a few days since I posted anything to the site. I've been pretty busy and I like to write the blog at night so I can recap the whole day, but I have been falling asleep pretty early (probably because I have been getting up so early full of energy...and more business to take care of).

The weekend went pretty I went to the mall/movies with some friends for one of their birthdays. This was a tough time because Chick-Fila is one of our favorite treat spots...the fires are just soooo good but I had to go for another choice for the first time ever (We have a little weekly ritual for Chick-fila), but I did it.

My good friend who is another personal trainer says to me "I'll support you whatever you do but I don't think you need to do this 30 day diet thing". She knows I get caught up in wanting a well-defined stomach and tried to talk me out of it. I even considered it because I am so active and don't want to lose weight but doing it more to bring down my body composition, and I have found that cutting back on these things have made me lose weight (granted inches around the waist).

A major positive though out of this whole thing so far is that it is really getting me to COOK (and obviously healthy cooking)! I am finding that it doesn't really take that long and that I am not bad at it either. Now maybe someone who is looking to taste a lot of seasoning may think different but I found that you really can spice things up a bit (good old mushrooms, onions and green peppers).

Well I think this is day 11 (for me..kinda) but like day 9 for the program we are all following...I am so confused to tell you the truth because of my email notices. I get the weekly planner but then I still get the late emails too so it just really messes me up trying to keep track with everyone else (like I said I started officially on the 1st of Feb because I originally thought that was when the Challenge was going to begin)

Until next time.......

LGNC- Day 7

Once again I fell asleep before writing the blog post. I have been really busy this week working on projects that will change my life/career and trying to get my schedule in check because of new clients coming aboard to train.

It was funny because yesterday I put on my work pants and they felt like they were falling off. There was more room in the waist area which is a great thing. One of my goals is to get more defined (4 or 6 pack) abs so to know that my waist is shrinking tells me that I am on my way!

Still find hard times I am apart of a healthy eating track program at the gym I work at, and during the seminar that I and another trainer where giving one of the participants shared a delicious low calorie snack (basically a grahm cracker ice cream sandwich type dessert). It sounded soooooo tasty, which brings me back to the hard part because I can not try it right now so believe me this 30 day diet things aint easy, but I am glad I am doing it, if nothing else when it's over and I start making my eating choices I ill have better deiscipline. An added bonus is that it has been getting me to cook A LOT more than I ever did...one of my Magic 100 goals ;-)

Not much else to say gotta keep it short to work on a project. Until later today when I fill you in on how today went.

LGNC- Day 6

Well I am doing well on the 30 day diet but getting tired of it at the same time if that makes sense. It is actually very good for me because one of my goals in my Magic Hundred program that I am doing is to cook a meal once a week. My brother's friend is a very good cook and cooks a great meal once a week while we watch funny shows or a movie so I relax and enjoy the cooking.

I am and have always been a jock so cooking has not been high on my list of priorities but I know it needs to be for healthy living throughout my life.

I am having some major delay with my emails so I don't remember getting the one about emailing Dax my goals for the program until today which said that I should have already done it. I didn't so here it is.

GOALS FOR LOOK GREAT NAKED CHALLENGE:
1. Win Trip to Thailand
2. Get to 14-16% bodyfat (My Tanita scale said I was 25% which I don't necessarily believe but oh well)
3. Have well-defined abs
4. Get myself into very healthy eating habits (accountability that gets me cooking, preparing, grocery shopping consistently)

There you have it! Two workouts good eating I am still on track (though it's still tough but more because of the cooking/preparing food habit that I have never been good at) Until tomorrow...

LGNC- Day 5

Wow was I beat yesterday (Hence me writing this blog this morning).

I actually fell asleep before remembering to write the blog for the day but rest assured I will just write two today. I want to really hold myself accountable so I am going to stick to writing this blog daily.

I did my workouts and stuck to the nutrition program. I have to admit it is getting a little easier but the headaches still exist though very minor. I felt pretty tired throughout the day yesterday so my energy levels feel somewhat zapped too but I feel pretty good this morning so we will see what the rest of the day brings.

Had five good meals yesterday, drank lots of water and stuck to the three hour time breaks in between eatings. I am on track!!!

Off to do my integrated movement workout. Talk later today.....

LGNC- Day 4-Officially Day 1

Today was the official kick off of the challenge as far as the nutritional and exercise programs are concerned, but as I mentioned before (I think), I am on day 4 (day 3 of eating straight to the program).

As Dax said may occur, I did have some slight headaches today. They felt like "haven't eaten in a while blood sugar low headaches" but I know that wasn't the case because I was eating every two to three hours. Those toxins are already being released....Wohoo!!

I did the two workouts and now I am spent form the day so I will say goodbye until tomorrow...

LGNC- Day 3

Tomorrow officially kicks off the challenge but I am happy to say that I am off and going with it. I guess my challenge will be a 93 day challenge.

I went grocery shopping today and stocked up on all my healthy foods. I don't ever think going to the grocery store was so hard. I noticed EVERYTHING in the store that I could not eat.. the lines were very crowded, probably from superbowl prep which made for a longer stay and a longer time to smell the hot food which smelled so good.

Overall today was a pretty good day, since I was well stocked with food. Dax is right when he says adhering to the program heavily depends on planning and having the right foods around. Yesterday I did not go shopping and still had the junk food in the house (which my brother will not let me throw away) so ate lots of fruit because that was pretty much all I could eat in the house once I got back from my 9-5 conference.

Just finished watching a GREAT SUPERBOWL!!! GO GIANTS!! The EAGLES are my team but I felt like the Giants were tonight (that's how much I wanted them to beat the Pats). I think that's all for today...I'll be back tomorrow to let you know how it goes....

Oh yea last little sidebar that you may think is tmi or not but....all the water I am drinking is definetly flushing me out, I have been to the ladies room a good six or seven times today.... ;-0)

LGNC- Day 2

Chest/Bust: 84cm
Waist: 76cm
Hips: 91 1/2cm
Thighs: 58cm
Arms: 24cm
Calves: 33cm

Weight: 129.8lbs
Body Fat%: 25.0

Those are my beginning stats...we shall see where I progress to...

Now onto another topic of discussion... I am a little confused but I think I got it under wraps now. I am saying this is Day 2 in my challenge attempt but I don't think things officially get started until Monday which is in two days. Dax is still sending prep emails so I I guess this may not really be day 2 but I am off and running anyway.

I decided to start my correct eating patterns and guess what happens my brother bakes this delicious looking/smelling cake and I thought this may be harder than I thought but I just keep thinking Thailand....Thailand....Thailand! Until tomorrow
